Have you ever seen.....

Today thought I would share with you this card. This stamp from Magnolia makes me smile... not that there's many lilac and green bumble bee's out there!
This weekend I took a little "vey last minute" road trip along with my friend to our favourite shop where we normally have to buy on line because its a long way. They had a small demo day on, so we thought why not. So with Sat Nav Sally in hand off we set at a really unearthly hour! for a Saturday morning. Now normally I like to use a map, but this time I thought I'd borrow hubbys Sat Nav, but I just couldn't but my trust in her and accept that she was sending me in the right direction and had to turn around at least half a dozen times which sent her into a frenzy of rerouting !!! I tell you I nearly chucked her out of the window, this all caused much amusement to my Co driver who couldn't read the map because it made her feel sick!!! now I ask you have you ever heard of a car sick Co driver?
Eventually we arrived at our destination much to my relief, we were so excited to be there and couldn't get through the door quick enough to gaze in wonderment at all the lovely goodies especially the largest selection of ...
yes you've guessed right Copic Sketch Pens and Magnolia stamps I've ever seen. Oh it was such bliss.
The word of my day was to Spend.... and that I did quite easily, and now all we had to do was find our way home, via Grantham to buy a hairbrush!?
Enjoy the card xxx
P.S. thanks Molly & George for a lovely Mothers Day treat at my favourite store!

Back to the Copics...

Well its back to my copics!!!

I wanted to share with you this project I made a couple of weeks ago, using my two most favourite crafting products... my copic pens and my magnolia stamps, both of which are very addictive. This is my entry for the competetion run in the lastest edition of Magnoliaink, not that I stand any chance of winning.
I've titled it Bloom and Grow and its based on a workshop that I ran a year or so ago. It was fun to make and a bit different than a card, as I enjoy working on 3 dimensional projects.
Hope you like.

Have you ever heard the excuse, when you hadn't done your homework
Sorry Sir, but the dog ate it!
Well thats exactly what the dog did to the card I showed you yesterday.
Do you think him upstairs is trying to tell me something about my work? or
that I should just stick with my copics!!!
Have a good day xxx

Black & White

Just wanted to share this card with you to prove that I can do other things rather than colouring with my beloved copic pens!!!
The stamp is by Inkadinkado and the papers are Bazzill Polka Dot and Doddle Bug all of which were in my stash! At the moment I'm into threading crystals onto pins just to add that extra bit of glizt.
Hope you enjoy and by the way....
I've published the pictures the wrong way round, where's Molly when I need her!

At Last the Sun!

Good morning, and oh what a morning again! Its been such a lovely weekend and at last the sun is again shining even though its absolutely freezing, I feel we have even bid the snow a final farewell for this year.
I actually got in the garden this weekend to do some tidying up, pegged out my first line of washing and took the dog for a walk with out getting wet or muddy... oh the joys of spring! here's to it lasting.
Well I've a run of birthdays at the moment, and thought I would share this card I made in my favourite colour combo pink and green. The papers are by Kaisercraft Wish Upon range, the punch is Flower Shower by Martha Stewart and the stamp is Rose's Garden by Sarah Kay. Coloured in as always with my ever expanding copic range

Crafting on a Budget!!!

I Thought I'd share with you my Quick Make of The Day...

I just love the combination of colours together, the stamps are Magnolia, of course from The Spring 2009 collection, coloured in with my Copics. I am slowly progressing onto Copic Sketch Pens, there's even a bigger range of colours to choose from, and I won't be happy until I have the full range! I was the same as a child with Felt Tip Pens, I never had enough.

The papers I have used are from Crate Paper's "the Blue Hill" collection. Come to think about it my hubby will really proud, I've been really thrifty in making this card! I've not even left home once to go to the Craft Shop - that's what I call progress!

Oh, by the way, I did shop off en route to order some new pens!
