Hello, its so hot here in Helmshore today that no one really knows what to do with themselves, well actually there is only myself and our dog Alfie in at the moment, and it is really to hot for him to do anything other than lie at my feet, flat out and asleep. It makes a change as he is only seven months old and has a passion for paper also... that is chewing it! He can normally be found with head stuck in waste paper basket in my studio chomping away merrily on any left over bits. Alfie does diverse sometimes to Georges floor wardrobe!!! but at weekend he excelled himself he ate Davids lottery ticket.
Today I thought I would show you this idea, Sugar Rush made especially for Molly. While she has been getting ready for her final Degree Show at University it has been an endless round of tea , cake and chocolate biscuits... well I have needed it for when she has been stressing out at me!
Well, Thursday will soon be here and Molly will get her final results and her education which she began at the age of 4 will be finally over at the age of 22, but I know that all the hard work she has put in over the past 4 years will have pay off. I am so very proud of you Molly... but seriously my diet begins Monday!
Thanks for popping by today,
Clare x
Morning Claire
ReplyDeleteI 'think' reading your post I know where the names of your lovely new stamps come from.
It's a very stressful time waiting for results, when one of my sons came they had to be signed for, we had popped out, the postman left the usual note and I rememebr chasing all round the village looking for him. Worth the wait, he got his First.
I'm still playing with the stamps and really enjoying them. Some peeps a bit surprised as they usually expect botanical from me.
