Happy Easter........................

Happy Easter to you all, thanks for all your lovely comments over the past weeks, I really enjoy reading them.

As always its has been manic around here and the reason I have not been around is that I have had an unexpected visitor for the past couple of weeks. My friends daughter from Vancouver in Canada had been over in Italy since the beginning of the year as an Aupair and as these things do sometimes it turned a little pear shaped and I had to come to the rescue!!! so have been playing host mum, and tour guide as she has never been to England before. Well yesterday, was her day to retun to Canada and I will miss her so much but I so need to get back up to speed with my work!!! especially this blog!!!!!!

So just going to practice my colouring as I may I forgotten how! and what would the ladies at Which Craft in Doncaster on Wednesday think of that?

Have a wonderful Easter and do not eat to much chocolate,

Beside the seaside, beside the sea!!!

Oh I think this is summer and its peaked far to early! This means another wet summer. I have been busy making sample cards this week for a shop, and it has given me sometime to play with last summers range of Mollys', and I thought this card is rather befitting of the weather at the moment!!!

I have used the new Stella Rose papers by Minds Eye, I just love them and not even an October Afternoon in site.

Why is it, that when the weather is like this the washing machine is on over time as you just have to wash every thing in site, in order to get it pegged out? or is it just me?!!!

Anyway have a happy and sunny weekend,
Love Clare xxxx

That chuffing bun!!!

Is that swearing?!!

Hi and thanks for dropping by today.

For all you mums out there I hope you all had a lovely Mothering Sunday, I had a great day with my mum who came to stay for the weekend, but I did miss Molly who is away on holiday at the moment, its the first time in 23 years she wasn't there. At least David my hubby made us breakfast, if we had waited for George to do it, I would still be waiting this time next year!

Had a good class on Saturday over at The Paper lane in Northallerton. The shop was celebrating there first birthday and there was yummy cake for everyone, in fact cake was the order of the day.

Here's what we made, but there was allot of swearing when assembling the finished project, especially from...
I can't tell you who, but they know who they are!!! hence the tittle.

Please let me know if anyone has a handy hint for assembling the Tim Holtz mini rosette die ( a present off George for Mothers day), as I learnt a few new words I didn't even know existed!!!

Have a good Monday,
Love Clare xxx
