Sunny Wednesday...

Morning to you all, hope your day is as lovely and sunny as ours...it sure makes you feel so much better!
Had a lovely class over at BarjanB on Saturday and it was a lovely group of ladies who came along, so thought I would share the weekends make with you. George has finally finished University for good and graduates in July... just can't understand where those 3 years went. All his belongings are slowly but surely arriving back home as he moves back, so I guess that's it to my tidy organised house and car!!! :0)

Well that's all, off to sort out all his washing... don't really know which is dirty and which is clean as its all mixed together...so its all getting washed!

Life is so much better at the beach! ...

Hi there! Sorry I haven't been around of late but you know how it is....
Spent a lovely day over at Stamp Magic in Doncaster on Sunday demoing for Which Craft. Paula & Gary really do put on a great show and on Sunday it was the 10th Anniversary. It was so nice to see a lot of familiar faces.

Today I want to share my Beach Hut make with you.... the weather is rather nice here today!
I have used a real mix of medium to make this project but it was such fun to make and I just wanted to keep adding
this and that. Well that's all for now thanks for stopping by.

Sew Long..................................

Well, what am I like... only the second post of the year! and its April the 1st, must have a word with myself for not being very consistent. I guess that's me at the moment just feeling a little low.

Today I want to introduce Spring Time Molly - it seems the right time with all this lovely Spring weather! though I have woke up to rain, but it is only early. Molly is not a stamp but a sewing kit, which comes with everything included apart from your stuffing. I thought a little change would be good, the instructions I have compiled are easy to follow step by step so if you have never sewn and fancy a go you to could create a Molly too. She wears a pretty wool/felt appliqued  jacket over her dress and of course she wear bloomers... with winter having passed she carries her hat in her hand. All fabrics, embellishments are as I have used and of the highest quality.

If anyone is interested for more details and cost, if anybody is still out there after all this time please contact me  at  clarerowlands65@hotmail.co.uk

Well better run, and start the day properly with a nice cup of tea and another look out of the window.
Thank you for popping by today, Have a good day whatever you have planned

Whoops it's been a while...

Well it has been a while... but better late than never. I have been busy designing this and that, new stamp designs and few other little bits along the way! So at last today I have finally got around to writing a new post for my blog and the first for 2014!

Workshops are just beginning to pick up speed again, although I have had a few already to gently ease me back into the swing of things. Yesterday I was over in Kendal teaching a great bunch of ladies... creating a little something that they could all use if they wished. Even the tea bags that I bought for everyone colour co-ordinated with our make. Pink is not my usual choice of colour but these papers are by my minds eye and ever so pretty and the stamped image is anyone for tea Molly. It's just a shame I still haven't got great photography skills.

Well if you dropped by today... many thanks for not giving up on me.
Keep safe, warm and dry in this horrendous weather
Hugs Clare xXx

Tomorrow is my final workshop of the year... but today I am sharing with you what we made at weekend, a wall hanging pennant. It is a mix of KaiserKraft Pennants, Sizzix Hexagon 3/4" die, Authentique Christmas papers, felt, twine and lots of rusty bits!  and lots of photo's of the finished article...

A Time to Celebrate.......

Hi, I hope you all had a really lovely weekend... I know I did! I  was over at Sirstampalot at weekend teaching, and of course it was mixed with a little retail therapy... it would have been rude not too.All the ladies really loved making the two projects, we used a different stamp for each project Lumber Jack George & Woodland friends and rather an unusual colour combination for the Christmas makes, but I think it works really well... and all were convinced by the end of each class.

During the weekend, I did receive a phone call off my Molly who was so excited... because Luke had just proposed to her and presented her with the most beautiful engagement ring which he had designed himself and had made! David and myself were in on the secret as he had done the proper thing and had visited (all unbeknown to Molly) to ask David's permission... how sweet is that.
Just got to decide now whether I should have a big hat or not !!!

Take a Bun Tin....

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a good week... not sure whether mine is running any more smoothly than last week ... but hey never mind! Looking forward to my workshops over at Sirstampalot in Peterborough this weekend, just got to tie up the lose ends of what we are going to be creating.

Thought I would share yesterdays make over at the Kendal workshop... as seen, as Advent is nearly upon us! I am actually going to put chocolates in this... and not eat them before hand, but I don't know if I am kidding myself. Well thanks for dropping by today.

One of those weeks....

Good morning to you all... Do you ever have one of those weeks when you have a 101 things to do, and you end up all frazzled? well in a nut shell that was me this week ... working really hard and by the end you have nothing to show and it all seems like a complete waste of time. To top it all off I have just wasted a whole packet of croissants by burning them... I switched the grill on instead of the top oven... so breakfast is burnt offerings all round! so much for a Sunday off.

Well enough of that... today I am sharing with you Saturdays workshop make over at BarjanB Crafts, I hope you like and that your Christmas crafting is going well.

Thanks for popping by today,
Hugs Clare xXx

Well What can I say............

Hello to you all and thanks for stopping by. Hope you all had a good weekend. I was on my travels again this weekend and teaching at a new location - Grafton Crafts in Kimbolton. I was a little nervous but I need not have worried, we had a great day and the ladies were all lovely and very welcoming which makes it so much easier for me! so thank you all.

Moving on I must say a huge thank you for all the entries into the competition, So much time and effort was put into each entry. We have had a great time looking at them all... it goes to show what a very talented crafting community we have out there! so well done to everyone for taking the time to enter. The winner will be announced on November 5th on facebook.com/mollybloomsdesigns  so take a peep to see the  winner and winning entry.

The card that I am sharing is one of the makes from Saturdays workshop, featuring Candle lit Delivery and dressing the trees. Well that all for now must catch up with the house work..................

A Little Reminder.....

Happy Tuesday to all! Hope you are all good and survived the horrendous weather yesterday. My poor Molly had to fly to
Copenhagen for work yesterday and by the time she arrived the stormy weather had caught her up... stranding her in Malmo, Sweden over night. Hopefully her plans are back to normal today!

I have been really busy of late, travelling up and down the country teaching workshops. Meeting lots of familiar and new faces, it is a real treat to share my makes with you. I just love this time of year when everything is focused around Christmas. Just sorry for Diane who had to miss Sundays workshop at Sirstampalot  due to having residential school trip... I know where she would have rather been ( especially as it was half term!!!)

Just a little reminder, you only have until Thursday 31st October before Midnight to download your Molly Blooms projects to be in with a chance to win £150.00 of Molly Blooms Stamps. Go on over to facebook.com/mollybloomsdesigns  There are lots of wonderful entries on there already, it is going to be so hard to choose when the competition closes... why not stop by and take a peep!

A lot of you have been asking me when the Christmas Magazine is out... unfortunately due to time and the length of time it takes me to compile , design and write etc. and the release of the Birthday Parade Mag their is not going to be one this year. Who knows what 2014 will bring...........

Enough now of me prattling on... Todays make is a card featuring Hector the snowman, fancy pants paper pad "Blissful Blizzard" The dies I have used are Magnolia DooHickey Die so Lovely Fence, Memory Box Twiggy top off with string and 3 rusty hearts.

Well that's all for the moment, happy crafting Clare xXx

Morning.................

Good morning............. After deciding to take a weeks break, with so much planned I spent the week feeling really sorry for myself with no voice and a heavy cold:( and firing on two speeds slow and stop It did turn good in the end, just back from a weekend spent with old friends in the Lake district, plenty of fresh air, walking and wine! My voice is back but the cold seems to be lingering.

Todays make is a box card.... using the stamp Mr Snow from one of my previous collections, I have used Bo Bunny papers and snuck in a few rusty stars for good measure. Just hoping to feel a lot more creative this week ,so I am off to play with my stamps and Copic pens.

Well that's all this time, back soon
Hugs Clare xXx

A Little taste of Christmas.....

Well, good morning to you all out there.................It's been a while I know. You start out with really good intentions and in my case those things always  go to pot!!!

I've been on my travels this weekend teaching at Jobo Crafts in Weston Super Mare on Saturday and then it was over to Cardiff to teach at Dandi Crafts on Sunday. Both were really great days but I am feeling a little jet lagged this morning!

I thought I would share these ideas with you today using the new Molly Blooms Christmas release for 2013
"Winter Woodland " available now. A couple of ideas hopefully will make up for lost time........

Well that's all for now ....  better get back to the more mundane things like the ironing .... no maybe not think I need to have a colour first!

A Little taste of chocolate...............................

Well thanks for popping by today. Don't weekends go far to quickly! can't believe Sunday evening is nearly upon us :( I still get that back to school feeling, where I panic that all my homework is not all done.

As I was work free this weekend and taking in the fact that the weather was glorious yesterday we took a trip over to the Red Squirrel Sanctuary and sand dunes at Formby point. We spent a lovely day walking with Alfie and I had even packed a picnic! for lunch. We were all disappointed that  no squirrels were spotted, only magpies and wood pigeons.

Sunday evening is my time for some chocolate so today I thought I would share this make with you. A treat box for someone deserving of chocolate! Again I have been delving into my stamp designs from a while back.... all still available. Just pull the ribbon to reveal the treat inside the box, sit back and enjoy! Yum...Yum..
